At The Duke we are all about sustainability and have been Soil Association certified since 1998. Using fresh, seasonal, great tasting ingredients means our menu changes regularly and we have the freedom to help out suppliers if they have a lot of something and need to sell it whilst it is at its best.
We all know that a plant based diet is better for us and the planet, and have chosen to promote this, making veg delicious and prominent to give real choice to our customers.We take great pride in our independent suppliers, who use the best organic and sustainable methods, and our well established, longstanding relationship with each of them. Naturally, we take transparency in the supply chain very seriously too. Our food suppliers are on a map outside the pub and the chef will tell anyone who asks all about them.
